This month promises to be a very busy and productive time.  Just a reminder that I will be in touch with you about any concerns I may have about your child.  If I do not contact you and you would like information about how your child is doing please feel free to contact me by phone or by e-mail.  It is important that we keep the lines of communication open.
This month students will be working on the Junior Achievement Program that will lead to our Christmas Store.  The money raised through the store will be used for year end field trips.  If you are able to help out please let me know.
Students are in the midst of working on a fractions unit in Math.  They are working on a Remembrance Day art project and in Language Arts they continue to work on building sentences and identifying sentence parts.  The "Real Game" is in progress where students have been given a 'job', have created a home, have learned how to budget and are now planning a trip with friends in the class to see what it takes go somewhere.  Hopefully this will encourage students to be more appreciative of what they have at home.
     Have a great week.
